WALL PANELS
More than ornament, the wall panels at Katz Studio operate as spatial interventions — dimensional works that blur the boundary between sculpture, surface, and architecture. Each one transforms the wall into a site of movement, tension, and visual resonance. What begins as pure form becomes atmosphere.
The Levitaz series evokes draped fabric suspended in time — an illusion of softness forged in bronze or cast in high-gloss resin, where shadow and contour play as importantly as material. The Wind Panels, part of the same family, introduce more directional force — pulled like sails in motion, some captured in solid hues, others fading delicately from one tone into the next, evoking light as much as wind.
In Spectra, form emerges from hidden systems — complex patterns generated from noise functions and mathematical disruptions, reminding us how nature itself is born of invisible logic. Oceana panels trace their origins to converging waves, their crests and valleys frozen mid-formation, drawing from the language of the sea.
Each panel is a study in rhythm and surface, finished by hand and offered in a wide palette — from chromes and solids to experimental fades and gilded gold. These works don’t hang on a wall. They become the wall — altering space, reframing silence, and offering a new architecture of emotion.
